8-Week Programme
Introduction to the Enneagram
Eight weekly sessions exploring the nine types through conversation and lived experience. No prior knowledge required.
What You’ll Experience
This isn’t a lecture series. Each week, you’ll learn through the method the Enneagram was designed for: hearing people describe their inner world in their own words, and discovering what that reveals about yours.
The programme follows the Narrative Tradition, the same approach taught by Helen Palmer and David Daniels at The Narrative Enneagram, where I trained and certified. You’ll learn the system by experiencing it, not by memorising it.
Before the programme begins:
You’ll complete the typing assessment and receive your extended report. Then we’ll meet for a 30-minute individual debrief so you arrive with a starting point for your own exploration.
Week 1: What Is the Enneagram?
An introduction to the system: what it is, what it isn’t, and why it matters. We’ll explore the three centres of intelligence (Body, Heart, Head) and how they shape the way each type pays attention.
Week 2: History of the Enneagram
Where this system comes from, how it developed through oral tradition, and why the Narrative approach is distinctive. Context for everything that follows.
Weeks 3–5: The Nine Types
The heart of the programme. Over three sessions, we’ll explore all nine types through panels — hearing directly from people who live inside each pattern. This is where the Enneagram comes alive. You’ll hear descriptions of inner experience that either resonate deeply or reveal just how differently other people navigate the world.
Week 6: Understanding Your Type
By now, you’ll have a much clearer sense of where you sit. This session goes deeper into your own type: its core motivation, its habits of attention, its patterns under stress and in growth.
Week 7: Type in Relationships
How type patterns show up in the relationships that matter most: partners, family, colleagues, friends. What each type needs, what each type gives, and where the friction tends to live.
Week 8: Growth and Integration
The Enneagram isn’t just a map of where you are, it’s a map of where you can go. We’ll explore what growth looks like for each type, and how to work with your patterns rather than against them.
After the programme:
A 30-minute individual check-in with Kieran to reflect on what you’ve discovered and talk about where to go next.
What Makes This Different
Most Enneagram courses give you information. You read about the types, you take a test, you get a result. That’s useful, but it only gets you so far.
This programme is built around conversation. You’ll learn the types by hearing real people describe their lived experience, not by reading descriptions in a book. When someone tells you what it’s actually like to be a Six navigating trust, or a Four sitting with envy, something clicks that no textbook can replicate.
The group is small enough that everyone contributes. There are no lectures. There is no homework. You don’t need to prepare anything. You just need to show up, listen, and be willing to explore.

Who This Is For
You don’t need to know anything about the Enneagram to join. Most people on this programme are encountering it for the first time, or have read a bit online and want to go deeper with other people.
This is also for people who already know their type but learned it through a test or a book, and want to understand it through lived experience and conversation instead.
And it’s for people who’ve been curious about Enneagram Café but thought “I don’t know enough yet.” This programme is the way in.
What Happens After
After completing the programme, you’re invited to join Enneagram Café, the ongoing fortnightly community for people who want to keep exploring. Membership is £44/month (individual) or £62/month (couples).
The introduction programme gives you the foundation. Enneagram Café is where the work deepens: through themed sessions, panels, subtypes exploration, relationship pairings, and everything else the community brings to the table.
There’s no obligation to continue. But most people do.
