About Enneagram Café

An online community exploring the Enneagram through conversation and lived experience.

Opening the Café

Enneagram Café opened in June 2023. Since then, we’ve held over 75 online sessions, fostering a welcoming community of people exploring the Enneagram together.

What started as an experiment — “let’s try a few sessions and see if people are interested” — turned into something much more. People kept coming back. They brought friends. The sessions became a place where the Enneagram wasn’t just theory, but a living conversation about real life.

In summer 2024, we held our first in-person workshop, bringing people together to explore the Enneagram in a deeper and more personal way. Whether you join for a single session or become a regular, you’re always welcome here.

The Narrative Tradition

The Enneagram has always been an oral tradition, designed to be explored through conversation and shared experience. In recent years, as it’s gained popularity, it’s often presented in overly simplified ways that make it feel detached from its true purpose: self-discovery through storytelling and dialogue.

The Narrative Tradition offers an experiential approach. You learn the types not by reading descriptions, but by hearing people describe their inner world in their own words. When someone tells you what it’s actually like to be a Six navigating trust, or a Four sitting with longing, something clicks that no book can replicate.

This is how Enneagram Café works. We learn through panels, conversations, and real stories. Not theory first, experience first.

About Kieran

I’m Kieran Morris, a certified Narrative Enneagram teacher with nearly 20 years of experience working with this system.

I trained with The Narrative Enneagram — the organisation founded by Helen Palmer and Dr David Daniels — and hold certifications as a Narrative Enneagram Teacher (CNET), Practitioner (CNEP), and Typing Professional (CETP). My mentors include Renée Rosario, Christopher Copeland, Peter O’Hanrahan, and Terry Saracino.

I’ve also trained in Dr Dan Siegel’s Patterns of Developmental Pathways approach, which grounds the Enneagram in interpersonal neurobiology. Learn more about the neuroscience →

Before the Enneagram, I worked as a voice coach (and still do, through my practice at Join the Dialogue). The Enneagram and voice work fit together naturally — type patterns show up in how we speak, how we listen, how we take up space, and how we connect.

I started Enneagram Café because people kept asking where they could learn about the Enneagram with other people, not just through books or courses. That’s what this is: a community to explore together.
